Once a month the downtown streets transform into a huge block party during First Friday. Each celebration, the entertainment will shift and multiply for this ongoing festival of art perusal and appreciation.

First Friday is a stage for Ketchikan's vital downtown cultural scene. The shops stay open later and will have special events or guests or even just some cookies and hot cider. There will be activities for kids and adults. Walk around town and listen to live music. Go watch a show at the Discovery Center. Get an appetizer special at participating restaurants. It's a place to meet friends new and old, and rejoice in the preservation of downtown.
